SMH: Paula Deen Admits to Using N-Word & Making Racist Jokes

Well, how ’bout some good ‘ol Southern racism to go with that good ‘ol Southern cooking? Paula Deen has admitted to using the N-Word, but don’t worry she discussed the ways the word could be “not said in a mean way” *Insert side eye here* Uhmmm unless Paula Deen is planning on taking up a rap career there’s no right way to insert the N-Word into conversation sweetie…

Deen & her brother Earl “Bubba” Hiers, are being sued by Lisa Jackson, a former employee who worked in the restaurant for over 5 years. The plot thickens. Jackson, described as a white female, is suing for being subjected to “violent, sexist, and racist behavior”. Jackson had to deal with this behaviour from 2005-2010 when she finally decided enough is enough and quit Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House , which Deen is partial owner.

Jackson allegations include being forced to watch pornography with “Bubba”, African-Americans being forced to used separate entrances and bathrooms than white staff and even include the most racist statement ever made by Deen when asked about what uniforms the wait staff should wear at “Bubba’s” wedding in 2007. Wait for it…

“Well what I would really like is a bunch of little niggers to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties, you know in the Shirley Temple days, they used to tap dance around,” “Now that would be a true southern wedding, wouldn’t it? But we can’t do that because the media would be on me about that.”
